BackThe 3rd Heritage Angoras Annual Sale, hosted by House of Fibre, took place on 28 January 2025 at Wheatlands Farm, Graaff-Reinet, with Jakkie Nel leading the auction.
The top price of R46 000 was achieved for a standout ram from Sean Hobson (Martyrsford Angora Stud, Jansenville), sold to Leon Eybers (Welgedacht Angora Stud, Rietbron) and Roland du Toit (Baakensrug Angora Stud, Beaufort West).
The event also featured a Women in Business workshop, where Isak Staats from BKB delivered a thought-provoking talk on how to fail, emphasizing resilience, learning from setbacks, and the power of perseverance in business.
Adding to the day, the Home & Hectare team was on hand to chat with producers about all things property while handing out some great gifts.
