On the 12th wool auction of the 2019/2020 sale season, the merino wool market indicator decreased by 3,0% to close on 16941c per kg clean wool.


The average clean wool market indicators for good quality long fleece wool (MF4/MF5) with a tenstile strength of 35 (NKT) were as follows:

18 µ 18278 (-4,6%) 21 µ 17452 (-1,5%)

19 µ 17805 (-3,3%) 22 µ 17123 (-1,9%)

20 µ 17195 (-2,7%)

The key buyers from the previous sale were: G Modiano (4,642 bales), Standard Wool (4,301 bales), Lempriere SA (1,167 bales) Of the 12,337 bales offered 11,862 bales were declared sold (96%).
